Everything feels like it's coming apart at the seams right now. The news is an endless scroll of chaos: political dysfunction, climate disasters accelerating faster than anyone predicted, wealth inequality that's become so cartoonish it's hard to take seriously except for the very real suffering it causes. It's overwhelming to the point of paralysis, and I find myself oscillating between wanting to stay informed and needing to completely unplug just to maintain some baseline mental health. The weird part is that everyone seems to know things are broken, but we're all just collectively shrugging and going about our days because what else are we supposed to do? Part of it is educating ourselves and solidifying relationships with people we care about. Looking out for one another and speaking up when you know something is off or just comepletely wrong.

I'm also channeling what I can into the things I actually have some control over. I've been working on some new ambient drum and bass tracks, really leaning into that low poly dnb aesthetic, trying to create something that feels both meditative and energizing. It's been a good outlet for processing everything. I'm also continuing to build content for Spaghetti Western, trying to tell authentic stories about the restaurant and the community around it. It's not saving the world, but it's what I can do: make things, help small businesses thrive, and try to build something meaningful in my own corner of this mess.
